Recipe: Holiday Mimosa

this year for our annual holiday brunch, we decided to gather as a team of six to reflect on and celebrate three years of hosting gatherings together. our family-style brunch featured several festive dishes, including our beloved holiday mimosa. chris, our drinksmith, has made this the last couple years, and we think it tastes like christmas morning.

this year, we wanted to share our recipe so you and your family can make it a tradition of your own. we hope you're able to enjoy it on christmas morning, new year's brunch, and beyond.

ingredients:

pear nectar
champagne, we prefer brut
rosemary sprigs

instructions:

pour 3 oz of pear nectar in a flute or wine glass. slap a sprig of rosemary between your hands and drop it into the glass. (this helps release the herb's flavor.) top off the glass with champagne, to taste. if you want to make a large portion for your family or friends, just multiply ingredients into a pitcher.

thanks for following along and being a part of our gatherings these last three years. we can't wait to start sharing more of our favorite recipes and stories with you in 2016.

merry christmas,

team ct
